CPAPNEA Medical wants everyone to be able to use optipillows.com — including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, magnify the page, or prefer less motion.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the standard referenced in Americans with Disabilities Act guidance.
What we have done
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Text and buttons meet the AA contrast ratio in both the light and dark looks; you can switch between them at the top of any page.
- Photos have text descriptions; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Product slideshows have a pause button, and they do not auto-advance if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Forms label every field and say clearly what needs fixing.
- The site works at 200% zoom and on phones.
Known limitations
- Our two instruction videos on YouTube do not yet have edited captions. If you need one, email us and we will send a written version.
- Payment is handled by PayPal inside the checkout. Its form is PayPal's; we pass on any problems we hear about.
